Applying to College

Many schools use the Common App. Each year, more than 1 million students apply to more than 1,000 Common App member colleges worldwide through their online college application platform. Students will need to create an account to apply to colleges on the Common App.

The Virginia Community College System (VCCS) uses their own website for applications. Students will create a VCCS account, and they will be able to apply to any of the 23 colleges within the VCCS.

For some 2-year and 4-year schools, they have their own application that can be found on their website.

Please see Ms. Gregory if you have any questions about applying to college!

These programs are designed with the promise of covering the cost of tuition, and in some cases, additional fees, significantly reducing the financial barrier to obtaining a college degree.
